In 1992 Tony Rink joined Renovators Ltd as a Partner. After learning the trades, and with a background in sales and administration, Tony’s role became that of general management, marketing, purchasing, and related operations.
In 1999, Tony became one of just approximately 800 NARI Certified Remodelers in the nation. NARI Certified Remodelers must meet certain stringent criteria, and must pass a comprehensive exam covering all aspects of home remodeling, including business ethics, practical experience and construction law. Today Tony is the President of Renovations Group, Inc and functions as the Business Manager.
Tony loves his job. He is the type that says “I get to go to work tomorrow”. When Tony isn’t working he enjoys golfing with his best friend (his wife tracy), travel, old performance cars and shooting sports.
Richard Ripple - CLC
Rick co-founded Renovators Ltd in 1985, and served as its President from 1992 until its merger with Owner Assisted Remodeling in 2011, which was, of course, the beginning of Renovations Group, Inc. Rick studied for, and received his NARI CLC (Certified Lead Carpenter) designation several years ago. He also received the State of Wisconsin Certified Lead Safe Renovator Certification. Rick participates in many other training seminars, classes and conferences to keep informed of new products and industry techniques. Since the onset of his career he has been building and managing residential and light-commercial remodeling projects. Rick has worked in the field as a lead Carpenter, and later as the production manager; working together with our sub-contractors and suppliers, while providing excellent client relationships. He’s always enjoyed some hands-on working in the field, as well as working with clients to exceed their expectations. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and is a big Packer and Badger fan.
Kevin Anundson - CR, CKBR, PE,
Kevin has over 25 years experience in the construction industry. Kevin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Platteville in December of 1986 and started his construction career at Wisconsin Electric Power Company in January 1987. Shortly thereafter, Kevin started remodeling part-time in the evenings and on weekends. This enabled him to gain experience in the trades and learn the intricate details of the remodeling industry. For the past 13 years, residential and light-commercial remodeling has been Kevin’s professional career and personal passion. Kevin is currently the Vice-President and Sales Manager at Renovations Group, Inc, and is primarily involved in the design and contracting portion of their projects, from initial consultation through the start of the project. Kevin is one of approximately one-thousand Certified Remodelers (CR) in the nation, and is actively involved in the Milwaukee Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), where he has served on several committees, the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee as Treasurer and Vice President. Kevin was recently elected to NARI’s National Executive Committee as National Secretary. Kevin was one of the original two founders of The OAR Group, as well as co-creator of Owner Assisted Remodeling (OAR); and is the Nation’s expert in making the “Owner Assisted Remodeling” concept successful with nearly any remodeling project, under most any situation, and with any level of customer skills.
I am blessed with a wonderful wife of over 16 years and two beautiful boys. We live in the rural community of East Troy, where I built our family home about 9 years ago; just minutes up the road from our second showroom location in Elkhorn WI.
I grew-up in, and have loved the construction industry for as long as I can remember. I was raised the Grandson of a cabinetmaker, and was thereby exposed to the importance of excellence, quality and service from an early age, by a true craftsman. I graduated from Mukwonago High School in 1986 and went on to the UW Platteville School of Engineering. After college, I worked for several employers, from which I gained valuable experience in construction, project management, sales and leadership. In 2003, I met one of my current business partners, and, after working together for two years at a Milwaukee area Design-Build-Remodeling firm, recognized two key things; first, the value of our like-minded belief system, and second, a much needed, yet unrealized void in our industry. Armed with that recognition, we created a partnership in 2005 and launched “Owner Assisted Remodeling”. The purpose of this company is still our slogan today “doing all or some of your remodeling project”.
I am currently responsible for day to day operations of our “West” facility in Elkhorn, WI, where I oversee both sales and production management responsibilities; serving all of Walworth and adjacent Counties.
My commitment to continuous improvement for the betterment of our Industry, our Company, and my community are evident in the following:
